How fast does the 1 Hour Express Mousse develop?+
One hour for Medium, two hours for Dark and four hours for Ultra Dark. Rinse in warm water when your shade is ready — the colour keeps deepening slightly over the next few hours.

Will self tan make me look orange?+
No — the range is built on a green-brown base that develops into a natural bronze, not orange. Prep with the Exfoliating Mitt and apply with the Blend & Slay Mitt for the most even finish.
Which shade should I start with?+
If in doubt, go one shade lighter than you think — every shade is buildable with a second application. Medium in the original pink-bottle mousse is the safest first buy; our shade guide in The Glow Edit walks through the whole range.
How long does the tan last?+
Five to seven days with daily moisturising. Using the Gradual Tanning Moisturiser as your daily body cream tops the colour up as it fades and stretches the wear to a full week.
How do I use the Face Tan Drops?+
Mix two to four drops into your night moisturiser, serum or SPF and apply as normal. The glow develops overnight. More drops means deeper colour; use nightly until you reach your shade, then every few nights to maintain.

What is the difference between the pink and clear express mousse?+
Both develop a real tan in 1–4 hours. The original (pink bottle) has an instant bronze guide colour so you can see exactly where you have applied — best for first-timers. The Clear Mousse skips the guide colour entirely: no instant bronze, no transfer onto sheets or clothes — best for repeat tanners who know their technique.
How do I apply self-tan mousse without streaks?+
Exfoliate 24 hours before. Pump the mousse onto a tanning mitt — never straight onto skin — and sweep in long strokes from the ankles up, buffing in circles over knees, elbows and ankles. Wash your hands after, wait your shade’s development window, then rinse in warm water.
When should I shower after applying self tan?+
It depends on the shade: one hour for Medium, two hours for Dark and four hours for Ultra Dark with the 1 Hour Express Mousse. The Clear Mousse works on the same clock — one hour for a soft glow, up to three for the deepest finish. Rinse in warm water, no soap scrubbing on the first shower.
Will the tan transfer onto my sheets or clothes?+
The Clear Mousse has no guide colour, so there is nothing to transfer. The original mousse’s bronze guide colour can mark light fabrics before you rinse — wear loose, dark clothing during development; it washes off skin (and out of most fabrics) at the first rinse.
How do I make my tan last longer?+
Moisturise daily — hydrated skin fades evenly and slowly. Use the Gradual Tanning Moisturiser as your daily body cream to top the colour up as it fades; that stretches a five-to-seven-day tan to a full week. Avoid long hot baths, chlorine and heavy exfoliation until you want to reset.
How do I remove self tan before reapplying?+
Work the Exfoliating Mitt in firm circles over damp skin in a warm shower, focusing on knees, elbows and ankles. Doing this 24 hours before your next application gives an even base so the new tan develops evenly and fades gracefully.
