Drop 01 is The Sock. We chose it as the first BGE product on purpose. Tan lines used to be the failure case of self-tanning — now they’re the post. The sock cuff, the bikini strap, the watch band. Lines that say I was somewhere and I did something.

The Sock is built for the proof. Cream crew, ribbed cuff, mid-weight cotton in a colour that doesn’t stain. Wear it. Apply Australian Glow over the top. Develop. Reveal. Post.

  1. Step 01

    Wear the socks.

    Put on a fresh pair of BGE socks. Cream, ribbed cuff, sits two inches above the ankle.

  2. Step 02

    Apply Australian Glow.

    Over the top of the socks. Up the leg, around the cuff, everywhere you want a tan line.

    Let it develop.

    Wait the time on the bottle — 1 hour for express, 4 hours for tan water. Stay dry.

  4. Step 04

    Pull the socks down.

    Slowly. The reveal is the point. Roll the cuff, do not rip them off.

  5. Step 05

    Reveal the tan line.

    A clean, sharp band of untanned skin where the cuff sat. The brand built into your leg.
