Legs are the hardest tan zone because they have three giveaway sub-zones in one area — knees that go too dark, ankles that streak, feet that look detached from the rest of the body. The method below fixes all three, then adds the BGE sock-line move at the end for a deliberate cuffed finish.
- Step 1
Moisturise the giveaway zones
Knees, ankles, the bridges of the feet. A pea-sized amount each, blended in fully.
- Step 2
Long upward strokes from ankle
Mousse on the mitt, not the leg. Pull upward toward the thigh in single confident strokes.
- Step 3
Circle around the knees
Switch to circular motion at the knee for 5 seconds per side. Stops the patch.
- Step 4
Feather the ankle blend
Light circles at the ankle, gradually less pressure as you reach the foot.
- Step 5
Feet with what’s left on the mitt
Glide across the bridge of each foot with the residual product. Wash palms immediately.
- Step 6
Pull the BGE Sock for the cuff line
Pull a BGE Sock up to mid-calf and let develop. When you remove it, you have a deliberate, deliberate cuff line.
